Pros: Superb image. Audio level indicator. Easy-to-use, intuitive menu navigation.

Cons: Proprietary accessory shoe. Underpowered supplied battery. Flimsy cover retainers. No HDMI cable supplied.

Bottom Line:
A few shortcomings, none of which affect final image and sound, can be mostly ignored as the Canon HG21 provides a satisfying video in an easy-to-use package. Read More
